Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of MegaCheck. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose of the app
MegaCheck provides product information based on barcodes and third-party data. The app is intended as a convenient informational aid.
2. No guarantee of product-data accuracy
Product data may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. Packaging, recipes and manufacturing processes can change. You must always check the original packaging and follow manufacturer warnings.

4. Subscriptions and purchases
Paid features may be offered through auto-renewable subscriptions or other in-app purchases. Prices and subscription periods are displayed before purchase. Payment is charged through your Apple ID. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, an auto-renewable subscription may renew according to Apple’s terms. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
5. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the app, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful content, automate abusive requests or reverse engineer protected parts except where applicable law expressly permits it.
6. Third-party services
MegaCheck relies on services including product databases, hosting, advertising and purchase-management providers. Their availability and terms may affect the app.
7. Availability and changes
Features may be added, changed, suspended or discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MegaCheck is provided without warranties beyond mandatory statutory rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory consumer rights.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. Access may be restricted where necessary to prevent abuse, protect users or comply with law.
10. Governing law
Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country remain unaffected. Otherwise, applicable German law governs these Terms to the extent legally permitted.
